The Award winning Paul John Indian Single Malt is all set to launch Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez Casks finish whiskies to its exclusive Select Cask range of fine single malts.
Paul John Oloroso, finished in Oloroso casks, own sublime flavours reminiscent of dark chocolate and Melton Hunt Cake. The long finish is intense and sweet with a delicious lasting note of spices imbibed from the Oloroso casks.
The Paul John PX, comes with layered aromas of fig, apricot and hints of banana. This whisky owes these flavours to the handpicked Pedro Ximénez sherry wine casks in which the whisky is finished in. Pedro Ximénez is known for its rich sweetness and intensely dark colour which it lend to our single malts during the aging process.
Paul John Whisky's current Select Cask range comprises of the elegant unpeated CLASSIC with an ABV of 55.2 % and the boisterous PEATED with an ABV of 55.5%.
The appreciation we received from the launch of our earlier limited Oloroso expression encouraged us to introduce the Oloroso and PX expressions as part of our Select Cask range and we're sure they will be well enjoyed as well, said Paul P John, Chairman of John Distilleries and the man behind the Paul John brand.
Paul John Oloroso & PX Select Casks is bottled at 48% ABV and will be released in October 2019 across select countries including USA, Europe, South Africa, Taiwan and India.
