Single Malt And Tandoori Chicken Pairing

Tandoori Chicken Pairing with Paul John Indian Single Malt Whisky

We are pairing Paul John EDITED Single Malt with the delicious Tandoori Chicken. Paul John EDITED comes from the sunny state of Goa, India.

Whisky Taste: The Paul John EDITED has a beautiful chocolate mint, coffee, mocha kind of a finish, very light smokiness and some sweet spice. It has a beautiful robust body.

We have chosen to pair with is very popular Indian Kebab, also called the Tandoori Chicken, which is essentially a whole chicken, that we marinate with very simple Indian spices. It has got Kashmiri chilli, bit of ginger, garlic, cinnamon, cumin and hung yoghurt.

The beautiful smokiness which comes from the tandoor because the chicken is cooked over charcoal. The hint of spices which comes from the Kashmiri chillies, with beautiful well-rounded flavours.

On being paired with Paul John Edited Single Malt the robust flavours of the spices works very well with the robust flavors of the whisky. The smokiness of the Kebab and the smoky nature of this whisky works very well together.

Enjoy the great Whisky!

Cheers!
